What do you feed your med-large breed dogs?

Recommended Posts

^ pretty much generic dog food. Are you feeding ur dog human food? Sometimes my dog will just start staring at you expecting to give food; so much that he ignores his own food. Maybe some Pedigree will make him beefier. Or if you wanna spoil him, beef. My friend has a very fat chihuahua because he feeds him anything, even fried chicken. Maybe consults a veterinarian?

I'm all for human food for your dog when she/he's in their last couple years of life, but when they're young only feed them dog food. You can spoil them with the higher quality/price food, but normal food like pedigree or eukanuba work perfectly fine.

My last dog got into the habit of eating human food very young, I got him when I was like 5 so I would just feed him whatever I had in my hand because I gave in. Try to avoid it though, because later down the line it could cause problems in your dog's health. Its also a pain when he is on top of you seeing what you are eating.
