I really just wanna know if Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Gold Standard is legit and worth taking, i know it couldn't hurt but if i'm gonna pay for something i just want it worth my money.

 

I've seen good results from taking it in the past. At the end of the day, protein is just a supplement. Get your diet straight and hit the gym hard.

All those mass gainers are super expensive, don't really think its worth it. Who knows though, it might benefit me, but I am sticking to whey protein and creatine.

They are meant for the super skinny that have trouble eating the right amount of calories in order to gain weight. For everyone that doesn't have trouble eating... EAT MOAR.

They are super expensive but if you don't have it you have to make up for it in food which ends up being more expensive.

Jeet has been taking Mass Complex Mass Gainer it is expensive as [expletive] ($70) but he did buy a 15 pound tub lol

 

He has seen results but then again he has been taking it super inconsistently, if he were to take it consistently he would have seen a lot better results by now.

how do you guys stay motivated?? i do it for about a week and im sick of it, although i dont go to a gym and i workout by myself when i do. but iv started back up again today and hopefully i can keep it going any tips or do you guys just enjoy lifting?

Join a gym tbh, that'll raise ur motivation by 100%

Daaaamn, I really thought I was going to get 100 on that initial test. I used to be able to get about 90 or so when I was in college. I got to 73 and felt like I was going to die just now, lol. I got scared because I have high blood pressure, ears were getting a bit red, neck was hot, haha...but I doubt I could even get in another 10, honestly.

 

Feels pretty good up until 40, and then you start getting nervous and a bit tired, and my left elbow started popping every other time. :lol:

i would but i cant really afford to go to the gym because one, of uni is too full on and i wouldn't have the time and it would be a waste of money, realistically id only be able to go on weekends. and two, i cant even afford it if i wanted to :lol: but im coming up to my summer break which is 3 months long so ill prob try get a 2 month membership and see what happens

ill go back to smittys pump up music thread and see what i can find :P

^Damn man at the U of A there's a really really nice student rec center with tons of machines, cardio, racquetball rooms, basketball gyms, etc. it comes with tuition, so really there's no reason not to go. I thought most universities had this, does anyone else's?
