Anybody know how to get a wider waist? My lats, traps, shoulders, and that entire area is way too huge for my tiny waist... I keep getting bigger everywhere, making my waist look even smaller. I know most of you WANT that, but I don't really like it personally.

Lol why would you not want that? If you want to change that, eat more lol.

hahahahaha well in that case, definitely just eat more. Or run a lot to slim down the other areas of your body.

Just got done with Day 26 of P90X, damn I am loving this program. I played basketball yesterday and my vertical is much higher, I'm way quicker and I feel more coordinated overall with my improved balance. 64 days to go. :D

Why would you want a wider waist if you look like that? That v-taper is considered 'aesthetically pleasing'. I'd kill for that v-shape.

I started taking Animal cuts today. You have to take 9 pills, 2x a day. There is 9 pills in a little pak, and you gotta take all of them. That's ridiculous, it takes a full bottle of water to down them all. Plus I'm taking 2 multi's a day and 3 flaxseed oil pills a day. I feel like an addict.

^I've heard so much about P90X, just out of curiosity how quickly do you see results?

Well I just finished day 27 and here are my noticeable improvements:

1. Already have a developed six pack.

2. Able to do 30 straight reverse grip pullups (started at just 15).

3. My vertical has increased a couple inches thanks to Plyometrics X.

4. My arms and back are much more sculpted than ever before.

5. My flexibility is amazing right now thanks to Yoga and stretching, plus my balance is great too. This has helped my overall coordination in basketball.

This has all been achieved already, and I'm not even 1/3 of the way done with the program yet. I can't even imagine how athletic I'll be once I finish. This is seriously one of the best investments I've ever made and it is worth every penny.

A lot of people give up early because they haven't seen results yet. Honestly, you have to be patient. As Tony Horton rightfully, "Rome was not built in a day, and neither was your body." You have to dedicate yourself to the full program and be patient. Doing so will get you in the best shape of your life. :)

I have a few questions about the P90X workouts:

1)So its basically just the DVD's and Nutrition Guide that you follow?

2) Are these workouts designed to help every part of the body?

3) I need to put on muscle, would this program help or is it more so designed to lose weight?

4) Do you really just need free weights and a bar for the exercises?

30.. really? They had a competition the bodybuilding website and the most anyone could do was 30, and these dudes are ridiculously massive. Not doubting you, but if you can do 30 pull ups than that's incredible.

If you're "massive" it's probably harder to do than if you're just fit. More mass to be pulling up. Just a thought.

I'm strongly considering getting this program though. I'm swaying back and forth on it...

Nah, there was 4 weight classes.

0-164 - 30 reps won

165-199 - 30 reps won

200+ - 28 reps won

Women - 15 reps won

And do P90x. I did 1 day before I realized I should wait till I'm home from PHX, and it was really challenging. It's one of the few TV workout programs that shows results fast.

Well I'm not really a massive guy, more pound for pound strength. I've always been a pullup guy and had one of the highest marks back in high school with about 25. I got out of shape and maxed out at 15 before p90x, now I'm just reverting to my old form and finally hit 30 now that I'm older and stronger.

Just finished day 29 today, first time doing the video "Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps." WOW... that was by far the hardest workout I've done so far. So many pushups, plus my shoulders are dead, my triceps are sore, AND having to do Ab Ripper X afterwards was killer. I rewarded myself with a chipotle burrito for that hard work haha.

Ah... day 30 of P90X is done... feels good that I've made it this far with still 60 days to go. I'm in the best shape of my life and I'm only 1/3 of the way done, I can't even imagine day 90.

Is Daze (I think) still keeping up with you?
