^Damn man at the U of A there's a really really nice student rec center with tons of machines, cardio, racquetball rooms, basketball gyms, etc. it comes with tuition, so really there's no reason not to go. I thought most universities had this, does anyone else's?

Nope the University of Nevada gym you have to pay like $80 a semester.

Continuing the protein conversation

I tried my BSN True-Mass with milk today for the first time based on your guys' advice... it tasted the exact same, just felt a little thicker. idk it just seems like since water is free it's not worth putting in milk

True mass = fuarking amazing

You use a blender to mix the milk/true mass.

btw ive gained 11 pounds since i finished my first tub.

Putting it in milk is probably better because a glass of milk by itself gives you 10g of protein along with calories, if you are looking to gain weight then it def helps. Plus it wont make you fat unless you just drink milk all day and do nothing active. Then again, I have probably had 3 glasses of milk a day since birth, I love it lol

Same bro my parents use to make me drink three a day lol, but now its a habit I drink one in the morning evening and night.

EDIT: I really believe that's the reason why i have never broke a bone in my body.

Once a day. I try and eat 4-5 meals while I drink my shakes. I basically just try and maintain a 3200 calorie, 160+gram protein diet w lots of fats/carbs.

Holy [expletive] man. That is a lot of damn calories. I aim for 2500 and usually fall short lmao.

Dirty bulk or clean?

Yea for real, if it wasn't for all the protein shakes I drink I wouldn't even make it to 2,000, and I aim for 3,000 a day. I wake up too late in the day to eat 3,000 calories, unless I stuff myself with like 3 burgers just for fun.

Clean, although I like to have a hamburger maybe once or twice a week.

Funny part is that in my Fitness for Life class in college I got my weight + body fat tested 2 months ago ( I weighed 163 pounds, had 10.2% body fat), and now today I get it tested again and I am 170 pounds, 8.2% body fat), I burn calories extremely quickly, and apparently gained lots of muscle extremely quickly.

probably a dumb question, and i dont really know how to ask it so bare with me haha.. when you guys do your sets of say deadlifts, do you do say 5 reps then wait then another 5 and so forth and so forth and once you have finished all your sets for that particular exercise you dont come back to it. or do you do 1 set of deadlifts, then move onto another few more exercises and do a set for each exercise and have a kind of cycle that you repeat.

I always go 3 sets of 15 in a row with a standard break in between. I don't go all that heavy though normally go a plate for the first two and then 185 for the last one.

When it comes to one muscle i'll usually do like 12-16 sets, anywhere from 5-10 reps

Lets say I do biceps

I'll 4 sets of 6 reps of bicep curls

4 sets of 8 reps of barbell curls

4 sets of 8 reps of incline dumbell curl

3 sets of 10 reps of hammer curls.

Rest time between sets should be anywhere from 45 seconds to 1 1/2 minutes, maybe 2 minutes if you're lifting mad heavy.

I feel like the more I have worked out, the worse I have gotten at pull ups. The first 2 months I ever did pull ups I was able to do 10 in a row like a breeze, lately I struggle to do 5 in a row. I guess I am just getting to heavy to pull myself up lol

Also, I find it nearly impossible to do them with my wrist pointing away from my face..probably my form.

Its probably because you rarely do pullups.

Whats your guys' opinion on smoking weed and working out? Not so much at the same time, say if you smoke one day, work out the other or something like that. My neighbor and I were discussing this, he thinks its bad for you and I disagreed - I'm pretty sure you'd gain the same amount of muscle that you normally would.. the only thing that would suffer would be your cardio. But maybe i'm wrong, what do you guys think?

Weed helped me a ton when I was bulking. But yeah, I'm sure it's not helping your overall health.
