HipHopHead
Yes, better than Distant Relatives. Yes, better than the Reflection Eternal album. Yes, better than Eminem's album (hey, some people seem to think it's a great album after listening to one song!). I usually won't go out on a limb and actually post a thread about hip-hop on this site but this album deserves it, no doubt. lol @ the common and kanye disses. http://cdn.2dopeboyz.com/m.php/2010/04/20100421-PACKFM.jpg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5wmK1MdaTVc

JYD
but this is the type of hip hop YOU personally like. not everyone is gonna like this. there's a few types of hip hop. this is some lyrical [expletive]. it's [expletive] you could def. get into on your ipod, but it's not something im gonna bump in my car... i much rather listen to distant relatives or even reflection eternal (which, again, kweli is more lyrical and not something you really get into in the car)... i could get into this if it was on my ipod and i had headphones on working out to this or something but in my car i'm not always looking for the best lyrical [expletive]...that seems to be what you really enjoy the most, and im not knocking that, i can respect that because i think the game NEEDS more of better lyricists...but it's not something i always feel like listening to. kadillak
I'll get to this album eventually. RPMs is definitely my favorite album to date, but The Roots and this album both could change that this month.
Lemon
Good song from production to lyrical content. Thought it was funny though that the first song you post is directly about hip-hop eccentricity. Just like you, really.

What's your point? lol, I could care less what you think. i much rather listen to distant relatives or even reflection eternal (which, again, kweli is more lyrical and not something you really get into in the car)...Okay...again I don't care lol. This album is better than both of those, Distant Relatives was a bit above average after a few spins and RPM was good but no where near as great as it was hyped up to be. i could get into this if it was on my ipod and i had headphones on working out to this or something but in my car i'm not always looking for the best lyrical [expletive]...that seems to be what you really enjoy the most, and im not knocking that, i can respect that because i think the game NEEDS more of better lyricists...but it's not something i always feel like listening to.....? It's not about lyrics dude, it's about good hip-hop with knocking beats.

JYD
isn't the point of posting on forums to post everyone's own opinion? idk why anyone even responds to you on this site, you dismiss everyone's opinion with "i dont care what you think." HipHopHead
It's definitely Distant Relatives, finally listened to it and it's really good, keep playing it.I have no problem with Distant Relatives but Nas seemed to be pretty stale on it, Marley was truly great though. There was no real flow to the album at all, either.
