ChosenOne
To early to say. When all the talent around him retires, what he will do then will decided whether he makes it or not.
Guru
If he can improve his jumpshot, its possible
Newman
I agree with ChosenOne, when at least 2 out of the Big 3 leave/retire then we can discuss this.

JWaLL
Hell no, Rondo will not be a hall of famer. We'll just have to see how his success goes when he isn't playing with three HOF bound players on his team.
CaliCurbStomppa
We should be having this discussion in 5 years or so. Its way too early. Lets see if hes really that good when he doesn't have 3 superstars on his team
Guru
He already improved his jumpshot..Not enough. He went from horrible to okay. He needs to go from okay to decent.

reno
The real question is who CANT make it to the nba hall of fame? Rondo already has a ring so hes pretty much locked up. Boston is too important for the nba to not get him in.
Nitro
Way too early to tell. All I'm going to say is that he's going to have to have a stellar career to make it in because this era is chock-full of elite PG's. Besides Nash and Kidd who are locks, he's going to have to battle the likes of Chris Paul, Deron Williams, Derrick Rose, Russell Westbrook, Stephen Curry (if you consider him a PG), soon to be John Wall and whatever other young PG's emerge through the draft in the next few years. Not going to be easy to make the HoF.

The Regime
Is he gonna be, idk it's hard to say at this point. Rondo is good but he benefits alot playing with the big three, and with the big three nearing the end of their careers it's all going to depend on what type of talent Celtics management surrounds him out. AllenIverson#1fan
Not enough. He went from horrible to okay. He needs to go from okay to decent. He's gotten much better! Did you see the buzzer-beater at the end of the first half in the finals game yesterday by him?

Nitro
So KG, Pierce, and Allen are not superstars anymore? No, they are not. Maybe Pierce but even in his prime I thought he was just a borderline superstar. Same with Allen. KG was a bonafide superstar and arguably the best player in the league for nearly a decade, but ever since the knee injury he's not much more than a glorified role player. Guru
He's gotten much better! Did you see the buzzer-beater at the end of the first half in the finals game yesterday by him?Not good enough. Defenses still don't respect his shot, they play back on him all of the time.
The Regime
He's gotten much better! Did you see the buzzer-beater at the end of the first half in the finals game yesterday by him? Did you see how much room Kobe was giving him? Rondo was basically at the top of arc and Kobe was playing all the way down to the free throw line. Your rarely see guards get that type of room. Dr. Feelgood
The fact that Pierce, Allen, and KG can still go off for at least 25+ makes it so teams can hardly double team a player. If you do, it's likely one of those three are open. So with PP, Allen, and KG still on the court with Rondo, it very much makes a difference. I can't wait until the big three breaks up and we can really see how Rondo plays. I'm not buying into the Rondo hype or jumping on the Rondo bandwagon. I'll wait until he doesn't have the big three before I judge him as a player.
