The Regime
Lakers guard Derek Fisher will be a free agent this summer and while he has thought briefly about retirement, he has no plans of doing so. "I've given some thought to it because it's a reality of our business," Fisher said. "But other than that, I haven't really crystallized in my mind what that will look like. "No, my plan is not to retire. The only thing that would change that would be physical limitations, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed on that." Fisher added that he hopes to re-sign with Los Angeles when he hits the market this July. "I'll just stay the course and I'll deal with July when it gets here," he said. "I would love to (be a Laker for the rest of his career). I've spent 11 of my 14 years here. "Obviously, we've had a great deal of success." http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/67021/20100605/fisher_isnt_planning_on_retiring/
The Artesticle
Fisher was god awful in the regular season, but has really stepped up his game this postseason. I wouldn't mind him back next year, but at a cheaper price. However if Fish does return, we still have to get another quality PG. I like CJ Watson, however, if money is an issue I wouldn't mind Steve Blake or Luke Ridnour either.
Poe
The Lakers have a good chance at winning a ring this year, but they won't win next year unless they find a good replacement. Steve Blake would be a great fit.
