platoon793
I've seen jump balls plenty of times when the refs are unsure of who the ball went out on.Hmm, well like I said I wasn't sure. From what I've seen I always thought if there is no evidence to overturn the call on the court they keep it. But I guess I was wrong, idk. And I understand a jumper from Rondo isn't really a threat, but come on. At least have someone close to him. You can't leave him that wide open. And yes, Artest was absolute crap, and yes Kobe got some fouls called on him that really weren't fouls, but he had the chance to get back the lead and he missed 3 times. And let's not forget the early fouls called on Garnett. It didn't allow him to get into any kind of rhythm the whole game. I don't exactly remember the fouls so they might have been valid, but there were many other times when the Celtics were screwed over. The blocks by Pierce and Davis. And let's not forget that Bynum had 7 blocks and Gasol had 6. I'm sure some of those should have been fouls, at least 1 or 2. The refs are not to blame for this game at all. Both teams were screwed over, and one team was able to play through it. Edited June 7, 2010 by platoon793
Owner Real Deal Posted June 7, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted June 7, 2010 This is totally off-topic but I just realized that Lamar Odom got 3 fouls in 53 seconds. That's crazy. :oYep. If you stuck Danny Fortson and George Bush in a blender, you get Lamar Odom.
Owner Real Deal Posted June 7, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted June 7, 2010 Garnett's foul trouble helped Boston. Hell, the Celtics play better when Garnett isn't touching the ball, or having to defend Gasol. Not to mention all of Garnett's fouls were legit to begin with, and he should've been called for another on that out-of-bounds massacre. platoon793
Yep. If you stuck Danny Fortson and George Bush in a blender, you get Lamar Odom.LMAO Haha, I agree. He needs to really step up and become a factor in this series. He needs to provide spark off the bench. Hasn't done that at all this series. Garnett at least has some length, while Glen Davis doesn't and had trouble guarding Pau. Rasheed did well though guarding Pau and also stretched the floor. I think it might seem like it helped them, but you don't know what kind of impact he could have had if he actually played more than 2-3 minutes in the first quarter. He could have made a few shots that would get his confidence up and he could have had some kind of rhythm, except when he didn't play that much in the first half he seemed totally out of the game and missed a lot of shots. AllenIverson#1fan
Pierce is play great! He basically put Odom on the bench. Pierce isn't playing great? Are you being sarcastic?
