Poe
I want to hear (or read, rather) every reason why Michael Beasley will never be an all star. Come on, bring on the hate! http://blogs.trb.com/sports/custom/business/blog/Beasleyadidas.jpg
Legacy
Anthony Randolph > Michael Beasley
Warren2ThaG
Depends if he's sober and staying confident in his game and team.
SeasonSeven
He has the talent no doubt. But the real question is if he's truly committed or not.
SRV
Its not that he won't be an all-star. He is just extremely inconsistent, I have seen him play like a beast, but a lot of the time he is missing open shots and making dumb choices. I say if he plays well this season then he is on the right path, if not, then I don't know whats up with him.
Hawks Fly High
i think he will soon but why we might not be relatively low basketball IQonly recently has developed decent work ethicdoesnt know how to play the PF when his natural position is SF. distractions (drinking, weed? xx.
Because the all-star game is voted by the fans.
Check my Stats
You only trade Beasley for cap room if it means Wade is bringing Bosh and LeBron to town, otherwise I think you keep him.

Flight
I think he has a chance at being an all star once or twice... but I think he's just too much of a score-only player and he isn't even showing signs that he can be a 20 ppg guy yet. Flash
His minutes need to be consistent. He's rarely ever able to get into a rhythm early in games because he's always out at the 3 minute mark no matter what. part of that is having UD behind him, and part of it is how Spo wants to manage his minutes. I think if you let him get into a rhythm there's no one who can stop him from scoring he's that naturally gifted.
Flash
For the record, Mikes been sober since last August so you guys' weed excuse can go bye bye, as if no NBA players smoke weed.
Owner Real Deal Posted June 7, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted June 7, 2010 Too many players are better at the forward slots, doesn't matter the conferences. See what happened to Danny Granger...and Beasley doesn't even come close to his game.
moeroadkill
I think if you let him get into a rhythm there's no one who can stop him from scoring he's that naturally gifted. sure there is, make him go right i dont think iv ever seen him dribble right once
Flash
sure there is, make him go right i dont think iv ever seen him dribble right once I've watched every single game he's ever played in. No one has stopped his left when he's hot. Our staff needs to develop his offensive game a little more though to feature some more versatility and attacking rather than pick and pop which is what he mostly did this year. Dash
The last player I recall saying "its on me" was Tracy McGrady.
Doc
I think his height also play a big factor. He is too small to play Power but not as fast to keep up as a small factor. I feel like Josh Smith was in the similar situation but was able to work on his game and keep him to his limits. Look at Smith now, he is a force on both ends. With Beaslsy, he just really needs to work on his defense and IQ. He has a mass amount of potential but he isn;t using it. Same thing with Andrea. Both can go off for about 30, but then will just be the dumbest player on the court.
AllenIverson#1fan
I really like Micheal Beasly. IMO he's gonna be a all-star one day.
