[expletive] Royce using recycled rhymes, for the second time. Dude doesn't learn his lesson.

Most rappers use recycled rhymes in freestyles. Big L, Biggie, Nas, Jay-Z...they all do it.

Yeah but most of them use them in a freestyle first, then realize their sick and use them in a song. Alot of new rappers use them before they do a freestyle.

From what I've personally seen, verses/lines that make an appearance on multiple songs/freestyles tend to be written for the purpose of being put in a song. A lot of rappers who freestyle like to use pre-written rhymes, sometimes from other songs, to get them going and they improvise from there. Some of the best freestylers, new and old, use that technique.

Yeah it's rare to see a rapper (at least a big name rapper) actually freestyle off the dome. I know Common is amazing at it. I went to his concert last year and he had a 15 minute freestyle about Toronto and about people in the crowd (specifics). It was real good. But most 'freestyles' aren't really freestyles, they're just pre-written songs that aren't for albums.

Of the more well-known rappers, Canibus is one of the best at spitting off the dome as well. Kind of like Em but to a lesser degree, his ideal style is perfectly suited for freestyle/battle rap.

and that makes it right? lol, some of those rhymes are like a year old - another reason why royce has turned to [expletive].

It's neither right or wrong, it's just the way it is. It doesn't bother me at all.

Not how it's always been or even how it is now...

Again, many of the greatest rappers ever have used recycled rhymes in freestyles. Nas, Big L, Biggie, and it goes on and on. It's not to trick anyone or use up some dead area in their verse. They use the pre-written stuff to get the flow going, and they improvize off of the rhymes they already had written down. Most freestylers spitting in a ciph already have at least the first few lines already layed out in their head, and then go off the dome once they got the flow going after they spit the pre-rehearsed lines.

What's your point? lol.
