Poe
The Heat's pre-draft workouts continued Monday with a session that included Maryland guard Greivis Vasquez, St. John's swingman Anthony Mason Jr. , Oklahoma forward Tiny Gallon and University of Miami guard James Dews. For Mason, the session was a reunion of sorts with Heat president Pat Riley, who coached Anthony Mason Sr. with the Knicks and Heat. ``It was real fun, especially when Mr. Riley walked in, because I haven't seen him since I was young,'' the younger Mason said. ``When I was young, Coach Riley had closed practices, so nobody got in.'' Mason said he got advice from his father before working out. ``He told me, [Riley] is going to work you hard,'' Mason said. ``Be ready.''Source His dad, a 6'8'' Anthony Mason foward, averaged 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Heat back in 00-01. It seems like Jr. is a versatile 6'7'' forward that can post up and had shot the 3 well in college, and also has a great wingspan and good quickness as well. Newman
Wow, I thought Anthony Mason only retired a few seasons back and now he has a son ready to play. Hopefully he won't end up like Patrick Ewing Jr.
