Latest iTunes Install Problems

I keep getting an error when I'm trying to install iTunes 9.1.1 saying that it cannot open a registry key and to check the permissions/access to that specific key.

I have tried about 5 different solutions that I've found on other boards and I have yet to find a solution. Any help from you guys? I have about 30 songs I need to update on my iPod and I can't because iTunes isn't working at all.

Uninstall and try to go back to the previous release. its probably available on filehippo.

I literally just tried that haha, weird. But it doesn't work. I keep getting the same error. I did a couple different registry edit programs, tried deleting the registry, changing permissions and still no luck. I so far have deleted everything on my PC that has to do with Apple and I'm going to try to start fresh tomorrow. I hate iTunes, but I pretty much need it for my iPod cuz I like how it's set up.

I can't remember the last time I upgraded iTunes. People always freak out when a new version is released because they think it will mess with your jailbreak. I never use it unless I'm doing a random sync. I listen to my audio with foobar2000, which is a much better app

I had that problem once, and I just used CCleaner to remove everything from my registry that had to do with iTunes.

 

Re-installed, and it worked.

 

I HATE, HATE, HATE that I have to use iTunes for the iPhone. It's really the only thing I can't stand about the phone.

I've deleted everything on my computer that is apple related, even the registries and it's still not working. This sucks.

How do I install that? It just has two file extensions in it..

you need to have foobar2000 installed to use it
