The Goods
The Denver Post has reported that the Nuggets and Pistons are discussing a trade involving guard Arron Afflalo. Detroit general manager Joe Dumars is trying to deal Afflalo to clear up roughly $1 million in cap space to sign a free-agent power forward or center. Afflalo averaged 4.9 points in 16.7 minutes last season. http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/60498/20090711/report_pistons_nuggets_discussing_afflalo_deal/
OldChili
He's a good defender, and he'll come in handy due to the loss of Jones.
Warren2ThaG
Wonder what they could get in return for him, he can be pretty good given time in my book.
Multi-Billionaire
Defensively, according to stats some guy posting on RealGM, Afflalo has better PPG and PER surrendered than Kobe and Artest... way above Jones. Defensively, he should be an upgrade. But I'm guessing we'll miss Jones' physicality and offense... He played very good offensively last 3-4 games of Laker series.
