SRV
I just got a laptop like 3 weeks ago, and it had windows 7. Weird thing is though, that like 3 times a day[On average, sometimes once a day, sometimes like 3 times in an hour} my computer freezes for no reason and I have to restart it. Anyone know whats up? Anyone know whats up? first off run some virus scans but when does it happen? does it happen when you do one certain thing?  and if you got it 3 weeks ago then you should have some kind of warranty service. try calling them. i have a dell and a few months ago my usbs went crazy and would crash my computer whenever i plugged anything in. i called dell, told them what happened. they went on my computer, reinstalled some kind of windows thing and it completely fixed everything. took 5 minutes

fly3rs18
just like 1 one i accepted in 1995? haha there is a big difference between now and 15 years ago. viruses and trojans now can track every single key you type and automatically send it to someone over the internet. so this means someone can steal your emails, online bank accounts, credit card info from ordering online, and much more. im glad you can just "accept it", but its only a matter of time until it bites you in the [expletive]

SRV
I have a bunch of virus scan programs and my computer is clean of viruses. It just happens out of the blue. It could either by while loading a wesbite, watching videos on youtube, mid song when I am on Itunes, sometimes I just leave my computer on for 10 minutes and I don't touch it, and it freezes by itself.  Its nothing big, I just have a feeling that it will freeze while I am typing an essay for college. SRV
Its not a specific program. It happens on firefox, i tunes, and sometimes even when I have nothing open. My computer makes a beeping sound then it goes to a black screen that saids no bootable disk or something. So I have to turn it off and on and everything is fine. SRV
Its actually no bootable device on the black screen. I dunno wtf that means, I can just turn off the computer and when I turn it back on everything is how it was before it froze.
