Whats worse, animal abuse or child abuse?

I feel without a doubt child abuse is more severe, I hate people who abuse animals but really its no comparison. The value of human life will always be greater than a regular animal. What do you think?

It really depends, people who abuse children usually just slap em lots, but people who abuse dogs do really harmful acts, but i'll put that its equally the same because they are both inhumane.

If you want to use God as an example to why it's equal than you don't know god. God created humans in his image we are greater than anything else on this earth. Hence why animals and plants don't go to the heaven he creates for us because they do not have a soul like we do.

Another good argument, both are evil. Hunting is different than abusing an animal. God gave us dominance over animals, but I also don't think He wants us to abuse them if they are not doing anything.

1 last tidbit before I leave. Abused children abuse their pets because they need a way to release their anger, so isn't child abuse far worse? I have never heard of animal abuse leading to child abuse.

an animal abused from a young age may become mentally ill and will become prone to attack humans. And what if you have an innocent kid walking by and an angry huge dog. Animal abuse leading to child abuse.

All we can go of is the bible, the thing that says he does exist. The Bible isnt really the "supremelaw" for everything. Who knows who wrote what in it. But there are these things called morals and hurting anything whether it be animals or humans is a horrible crime

God didn't create animals in his image did he? So the whole its equal because we're both God's creatures thing doesn't really make sense to me. Its an animal, not a human being. One clearly outweighs the other in terms of what would be worse IMO.
