Dash
Hearing Cousins won't work out in Minnesota. Apparently they have their mind made up on Wes Johnson. Jives w/everything else we're hearing. Link Edited June 13, 2010 by Dash
Jenneral
I can understand leaning one way or the other, but not working a player like Cousins out at this point doesn't make much sense.
Dash
I can understand leaning one way or the other, but not working a player like Cousins out at this point doesn't make much sense. I was thinking the same but then saw this on another board. John Grieg, the agent for Cousins, won’t send his client to workout for the Minnesota Timberwolves, sources say, because he believes the Wolves have decided to draft Syracuse small forward Wesley Johnson. Not sure if its legit though. There is also talk that the Wolves won't take Wes at #4 but will rather trade down and grab an asset or two and then take him. Lone Wolf
Well, that makes no sense. You "believe" that a team will pick someone else so you won't send your client to try out?
Newman
Unless Cousins is injured or he won't do well working out with the T'Wolves, it doesn't make sense for his agent to not send him to any workout possible to raise his stock up. Klashnekoff
He doesn't want to go to a horrible franchise. He doesn't want to be a KG and waste his career.

Klashnekoff
Why because it's the truth?
Lone Wolf
No, it's not that. You need to know that McHale is not running the show any more and Garnett did not waste his time with the Timberwolves. If he thought he was wasting his time there, I'm pretty sure he would have requested a trade. Someone is being blindsided.
