The Regime
Lakers guard Kobe Bryant scored 38 points in a losing effort on Sunday night, but said just minutes after the game that he's already forgotten abut the Game 5 loss. "I've forgotten about it," he said. When asked by a reporter if he's so focused that he can already erase such a damaging loss, Bryant elaborated. "Yeah, I mean, you just go into the next game," he said. "We have a challenge obviously down 3-2. We let a couple of opportunities slip away. But it is what it is." Bryant was then asked about his feeling heading back to L.A. in need of two straight victories to win a title. "I'm not very confident at all," he said with a laugh. Kobe was also asked about the play of teammate Pau Gasol, who scored just 12 points on 5-for-12 shooting in 38 mintues. He did grab 12 rebounds. "He's been consistent for us for a while now, so he can afford to have a bad game every once in a while," Bryant said. http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/67179/20100614/kobe_has_already_forgotten_about_loss/

Multi-Billionaire
Billups also often said in playoffs you have to have short memory. Didn't Boston have the best road record in the regular season? If you tell me there are two games, both in LA, Lakers have to win two to win the title, and Celtics only have to win once, I'd pick the Celtics.
