They sell some kind of adapter that lets you use your 360 controller for PS3, but I am sure the controls would confuse you if you did that.

Agreed, or even just the PS2 controller, but PS3 is the only controller with Syaxis or w/e that no games utilize anymore lol

It's possible, I still feel at home with a PS2 controller. I still feel like I'd snap it right in half tho lol.

You prolly played with the stock controller, I felt the same exact way when I played with that (and tbh I did smash that one into a million pieces, lol). The one with the rumble pack is a lot heavier and sturdier. I'm prolly just being a homer, but I love the controllers.

When I first got my 360 I hated the controller, and I hated the original xbox controller too..eventually I got used to it and now I love it and I can't stand the PS3 one because my hands are too big.

Ya I don't think I've ever played with that one because most of the ppl who i know that have ps3 only got 1 controller, I'll have to try that 1

i actually like the old xbox controller better than the 360's one even though they are super beefy hands arent all cluttered up like ps ones

LOL, wut? The 360 controller is SO much cleaner and easier to use IMO.

I just read that Final Fantasy 13 had a "full game's worth" of content removed for the final product so that it would fit and function on an XBOX 360 disc... Content that was running perfectly on the PS3 hardware. SMH.

XBOX > PS3, lulz.

No one plays that game anyways. It don't matter.

A ton of people play it. Just go look at the thread here in video game forum.

As for the BD's holding more space, yes that's true. But I'm sure if they really wanted to they could of added a couple more discs to hold the extra stuff they cut for the 360.

Yeah, that was the problem... From my understanding, someone (they, Microsoft, whoever) needed it to fit on 1 disc, so the rest was cut out.

But FF13 is on three discs for the 360...so what would an extra disc or two of content matter?

Not sure, to be honest... Just skimmed over the article. They said specifically "full game's worth", so maybe it would have pushed content to six discs? Not sure. I'll look more into it.

 honestly you can't go wrong with either. If you do get a PS3 I strongly recommend Uncharted 2. It's a great shooter but it draws you in like an action movie. Also, as far as games go, you're going to play the multiplatform games more than you'll play the exclusives. Halo may be the exception, but that's been around for a while on the 360 anyway.

But I gotta say that if you're a movie junkie, you gotta get the PS3. 120hz + bluray will be the best thing for a while even with 3D trying to get into the market.

Blu Rays are only 24fps anyway, 120Hz makes no difference

Final Fantasy should really be a PS3 exclusive anyway the fact they released anything for the 360 surprised me

Its all about the money. Any game that goes multi-platform does it for money, not for the hell of it. FF wasn't selling as much as usual, so they went multi-platform. MGS probably got a lot of money, so I have no idea why the next one is coming to 360.

Had the N64 used discs instead of cartridges, Final Fantasy would still be a Nintendo exclusive. ;)

2 and 3 (5 and 6?) are still two of my favorite games of all time. Must have played through (emulators included) each 10+ times.

6 is right up there for my favorite games of all time as well, and it's definitely my favorite Final Fantasy.

But alas, I feel we are starting to get off the topic here. Back to the original subject...

I don't get why some people feel the need to bash other consoles. I like all three systems pretty equally...

If you have an iphone or an itouch you can buy the first 2 games from the itunes marketplace

That's what I'm thinking. It's all about personal preference. Just because you like one system, it doesn't make it better. Just play your video game and chill.
