Jenneral
The biggest story out of the Milwaukee Bucks' camp Tuesday involved who wasn't there. Kentucky forward Patrick Patterson, who has been a high-riser in the draft workout process, canceled his workout with the team. Bucks director of scouting Billy McKinney said the team still hoped to bring in Patterson before the NBA draft on June 24. Patterson recently worked out for the Utah Jazz, which holds the No. 9 pick in the draft. And the 6-foot-9, 240-pound power forward took part in a workout session with the Indiana Pacers on Monday - Indiana has the No. 10 overall selection. "It's an indication he might be going before us in the draft," McKinney said of Patterson's decision to cancel his appointment with the Bucks, who have the No. 15 pick. "We've watched his body of work for the last several years, and we had a chance to interview him while we were in Chicago (for the draft combine in May). "He's a very impressive young man and we like what he brings to the table. We're comfortable with him but we would like to get him in for a workout. We will continue to try to do so." Jenneral
This sucks. Although I didn't expect him to fall to us this basically guarantees that. I'm sure he knows he's going before #15 and that a workout with the Bucks wouldn't be worth it at all. Knowing that PF is one of our top needs this draft/free agency it sucks when you can wipe one of the best ones out before the draft even begins.
