Cobb
Last two teams to play their first game. Spain should have an easy win unless they pull a Brazil.

Sun Tzu
I have an assessment task tomorrow and don't wanna be sleepy during it so I probably won't stay up to watch Spain dominate.
Multi-Billionaire
So I bought these cakes and the counter guy said Spain 2-1. I put both 2-1 and 4-1... the return on the latter is $17.00 :-D
Kobe24
You guys are not very smart with ur predictions. Spain looks awesome but its hard to score when a team's goal is just to play defense. Either way, Spain has had plenty of chances and David Villa should have scored there when he had that goalie 1v1 basically. Oh well, I think they finish 2-0. Cobb
Sucks for all the people who picked Spain in the ESPN Streak for the Cash thing.
Multi-Billionaire
Holy crap these top ranked teams are really raping my brain and money  Swiss defense was great... they deflect almost every cross  I thought Spain held the ball too long, each player had the ball and held it for too long before making a pass... they should keep passing like Netherlands which had very smooth offensive game. Torres looked like he just had sex before the game, not just the injury, I mean cmon man show some energy   Oh well screw these betz... maybe I should go down to $10 each game. Force
And, you were saying.........  Also, for the "most popular" sporting event in the world, it's pathetic that they can't even fill up the stadium. . What a joke. Why do you even watch if all you do is hate?  Spain had total control of this game..all the possession in the world but they didnt know how to translate that into goals. Very poor finishing from them excluding Alonso's sniper-esque shot that hit the upper post.  I still think they shoulda brought Navas and Torres much earlier. Villa looked like a midget with all those crosses in the first half, and Torres woulda opened it up more from him. Spain shoulda also attacked from both sides more instead of just one(first half = all in the left side with Iniesta and second half = all in the right side with Navas.)It woulda opened up more spaces for them to operate. Cant believe they lost but props to Switzerland..always mantained excellent defensive position and knew when to attack. Multi-Billionaire
Lost $300 Won $110 Lost $190 overall  Slovakia at the end I thought when they added 5' injury time in this game I was due for some good luck.  Whatever, I think the sport is more important than $$$ these bets are just to make it funner... How can Villa get a header if he's like Nate Robinson against Kobe Bryants out there? Those Swiss players are very tall. They might be the tallest team I've seen yet in this WC. Yeah agreed man... their offense is too one dimensional. It doesn't help these Swiss defenders are like trees... only Torres has a chance of heading a ball in, he's pretty tall, but there're like 9 Swiss in the box every time

I still think they shoulda gave the Swiz more space and not pressure as much as their best chances came during those quick counter attacks instead of those 100 pass possession where it would end up with an empty cross. Only one that actaully worked off the top of my head was Pique's shot that got saved, and even then, that was all Iniesta because anybody else woulda just passed the ball back to start the ball movement again. Cobb
This isn't good for Spain. No team has who has lost their first match has went on to win the World Cup.
