GamerGuy
Huge blow to the Celtics, both physically and mentally. I would imagine they're a bit demoralized now, especially Rondo, since those two are close friends.
Cobb
Looks like Shrek get his time to shine!
JWaLL
Damn, he's probably going to be sitting out a good chunk of next season too. Sucks for the Celtics.
Owner Real Deal Posted June 16, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted June 16, 2010 Yeah, it may extend to January (healing up). He's a big guy, so I'm really not sure...but looking back at other ACL and MCL tears, it's not good at all.
Check my Stats
Huge break for Lakers. Perkins is nothing great, but this means there are 30 minutes that have to be picked up by Sheed/Glen Davis and maybe even Shelden -_-
Paul
Well congrats Lakers.
ExplosiveScoring
Perkins has been pretty awful in the series....but he does provide a good chunk of fouls for them. It hurts them, but not as much as people think.
Jenneral
Although Perkins hasn't played to his full ability this series it's still a huge blow to the Celtics. Yet another factor to make the game even more interesting.
Nitro
Definately hurts the Celtics for Game 7. It basically makes anything Bynum can give the Lakers a luxory rather than necessity. For next season it's a killer though. He'll likely be out for at least half the season, and the other half he'll be shaking off rust and playing through pain. What a shame. Owner Real Deal Posted June 16, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted June 16, 2010 Haha, Boston fans are talking about how lucky we are on another site. I guess we're lucky because we didn't have Bynum, at all, for the 2008 Finals. Not even a single minute logged for him. And Ariza logged no more than 10 minutes every game because he was injured. Not to mention the fact that Drew can barely play right now, in these Finals. They can throw out all the excuses they want. They are lucky they had him for six games. If Drew was 100% for this series, it would've been over in five.
Lkr
Now Celtics fans will find out what its like to miss your starting center due to injury in the Finals.
The Regime
I hate to see the series end this way, but we'll take the win anyway we can get it.
