magicbalala245
According to a report from Ric Bucher, the Cleveland Cavaliers have contacted the Toronto Raptors about initiating a sign-and-trade deal to acquire Chris Bosh. Bosh is set to become a free agent July 1, as is LeBron James whom the Cavs are working to retain.

Check my Stats
Lol honestly I doubt we are trading them Bosh, even if he wanted to go there for some random reason (he and LBJ can unite in New York, and LBJ is literally the only attraction to Cleveland), there is nothing we would be interested in a sign and trade, literally nothing. Jammin
I have a feeling the Raptors will accept an offer like JJ Hickson/Mo Williams + Future 1st for Bosh + Future 2nd.
Newman
I have a feeling the Raptors will accept an offer like JJ Hickson/Mo Williams + Future 1st for Bosh + Future 2nd. That's not a bad deal actually. If the Raptors can deal a bad contract as well I would take that. I highly doubt the Lakers will trade Bynum now that he played a role in their title run. Check my Stats
We aren't dealing Bosh to Cleveland, they have nothing lol.... we have all the leverage in this scenario since Bosh can only go there for the MLE, if we trade Bosh for Hickson+Bad contract+Bad picks I might not watch the Raptors for a couple seasons. Built Ford Tough
didn't raptors want mo williams? If it meant dumping Jose Calderon's contract on the Cavs, then yeah, they were interested. I highly doubt that the Raptors would be interested in Mo Williams if the trade didn't involve one of their bad contracts, so Calderon or Turkoglu, and since Williams is also a PG, it would make no sense to trade Turkoglu for him and have Calderon, Jack and Williams on the team. Obviously this is just speculation on my part as I am no more informed than anybody who reads Raptor rumours, watches their TV shots/interviews and things like that, but I imagine part of the aura surrounding Williams was dumping Calderon's contract on the Cavs. I don't see why they make a trade for him if they aren't moving Calderon though. As far as Bosh is concerned though, Cleveland is honestly one of the few teams that I wouldn't even bother signing and trading Bosh to if I was Colangelo. It may be because I don't think Hickson is ever going to be anything other than an energy big and think that without a playmaker like LeBron he wouldn't contribute much of anything. Any pick that they could offer would be at best the 27th overall or something, and I would not be interested in abosrbing a contract like the ones that Mo Williams or Antawn Jamison have in order to make the trade work. I would honestly rather simply sign and trade him to New York or some place with cap room for a massive TPE instead of taking on Cleveland's spare parts. Nothing against Cleveland but the only interesting thing that they have on their roster is LeBron James, and maybe, Anderson Varejao, but in the words of Chris Bosh, Varejao would be an addition, not a center piece. A trade with Varejao as the center piece wouldn't interest me at all.
Cleveland's Finest
Cavs will buy a late pick in the 1st round, pick who the Raptors want, send that player, JJ, and Verajao, a future 1st round pick, and 300,000 bucks for Bosh. Toronto would sign Bosh to a max contract before the trade. That's what I've been hearing on the Cleveland sports radio. You can add Calderon and Mo to the deal if you'd like. You guys are underestimating JJ Hickson. He's only played one full year really and has so much potential. A very mobile and athletic forward. If he can work on his mid-range shooting, he can be an all star. Verajao gives you guys someone who can start. And we could pick Whiteside for you guys to have a center to build around. And we take on Bosh's contract and go even more over the cap while Toronto gets some extra cash, a trio of bigs, a future pick, and moves closer if not under the cap. If you add Mo and Calderon, you guys get a better point guard, get even more under the cap space too.

Built Ford Tough
They have Jamison, Williams, Varajao, Hickson and others. LMFAO! Why would the Raptors want Williams when they already have Jarrett Jack and Jose Calderon at the point, both of which are of the same caliber as Williams is? Calderon is slightly worse while you can argue that Jack may be the better player all things considered. I am sure that the Raptors are just itching to trade Bosh for Jamison as well. I mean, who wouldn't want to have a starting front court of Andrea Bargnani and Antawn Jamison while paying them a combined $38M to jack up jumpers and get lit up for 30 points a night each? That is a match made in heaven. Varejao and Hickson are decent pieces, but why would the Raptors give the Cavs the best one two punch in the NBA so that they could acquire Anderson Varejao and JJ Hickson? Neither of them are worth it considering they have no fear of Bosh signing outright with the Cavs as all they could offer is the MLE. And who exactly are these other pieces that the Cavs can offer? Jamario Moon? Been there, done that. Anthony Parker? Great role player during his time, but that ship has sailed.Daniel Gibson? Right, just what the Raptors need, another one dimension no defense shooter.Delonte West? Umm, no thanks. So yeah, I don't know what else to say other than... LMFAO! EDIT: Don't get me wrong, the Cavs are a good team, but that is because of the fact that these players all compliment each other so well and are basically perfect fits next to LeBron in their own ways (shooting, finishing ability, defense etc...). Take them away from that near perfect situation that they are in and put them somewhere else and they won't look nearly as good. Cleveland's Finest
If Raptor management was pathetic enough to sign Hedo to that large contract, don't think they are listening to your reasoning right now.
