Oh well, looks like I'll be waking up at 7 tomorrow morning as I'm not sure if I will even be able to watch another game of theirs all tournament long. Then it started to play calm and started to create real shots and just nice football. Multi-Billionaire Posted June 20, 2010 Report Share Posted June 20, 2010 NZ's defense was very impressive... it is one of the best defense I've seen from all teams so far. Italy wasn't struggling on offense, NZ's D just made it so tough. The game belonged to NZ's keeper Paston who saved like 5 goals on target at least... he played out of his mind, he protected the goal like Ben Wallace in his prime protected the rim. He was on fire tonight. Then this NZ sub #20 Chris Wood is huge and he looks slow and clumsy, but I've never seen a soccer player his size (considerably fat by usual soccer player standard) can move that agile once he has the ball and he's very skilled. He almost posted NZ's 2nd goal but it was narrowly wide. Good thing for Italy now it faces Slovakia in the final match so it should be a cake walk... I'm predicting 3-0 Italy win because Slovakia is just that horrible. But I'm not sure now if Paraguay can beat NZ especially if they keep playing defense like this and Paston keeps playing great and saving the ball like that. In fact, if they do, NZ should win.
