reno
I think they should, it would be interesting. Imagine ron artest guarding a woman. I think the possibilities are endless. Its silly to have two separate leagues one for men the other for women. We are all about being equal right? http://www.nba.com/media/wnba/leslie1_627.jpg
JWaLL
No. Women will not be in the NBA.
NomarFachix
How about we end the WNBA and still don't let them in the NBA?

Poe
As far as I know, there are no rules against allowing women to play in the NBA. David Stern has already speculated that there may be a women NBA player sometime in the future. I'd argue that there are few players in the WNBA that may already be good enough to play as back ups, like Taurasi and Parker. However, because of male egos and the overall controversy it would cause to have women playing among men, no organization would take such a risk for only a bench player, who may still have difficulty withstanding the physicality of playing among men, despite their talent. Also, if any women are ever allowed in the NBA in the future, the WNBA should not end. Edited June 21, 2010 by Poe
SRV
It wouldn't be fair, I mean, some women are really good, but a [expletive]ty NBA bench player would dominate a top WNBA player in an NBA game. Not exactly. I'd argue that Diana Taurasi is as skilled as almost any back up point guard in the NBA, and she isn't lacking in strength either at 165 lbs, so it's not like most male PGs will overpower her. Speed could be a question (though Diana is not exactly slow), but the fastest or most athletic doesn't always mean the best. Just ask Steve Nash. xx.
Sure why not, I mean fair is fair and we are part of the 21st century. The 21st century is all about freedom and giving everyone an opportunity in life. GO LISA LESLIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will only allow Becky Hammon in the NBA and that's only if she plays nude every game.

JWaLL
A minimum wage bench warmer would dominate any the top women in the WNBA. I just don't see them lasting in the men's league.

Imagine her going in against Dwight Howard, she will come out with her entire body injured.

Flight
I'm sorry, but there's no way. Even with players as good, and strong as Candace Parker, it wouldn't work. First off, no guy is gonna foul her, and if they did I can see injury being a problem with guys like Shaq protecting the cup.

crabbylion
Hell no! Keep the leagues separate. The self serving NBA does fine on its own already with their ego maniacs. The WNBA is pure, not to mention it's been opening avenues for young girls across the world. Merging the two would be like cutting out hundreds of jobs in a corporation. Dr. Feelgood
I will only allow Becky Hammon in the NBA and that's only if she plays nude every game. Yes! 2nd this. But really, the leagues should stay separate because it wouldn't be fair at all.
SRV
Its not about skill. A lot of WNBA players can shoot, pass, dribble like some top tier guards, but no guy is gonna try to guard her, and if she goes to the lane she will get demolished by a big man, or get cheap fouls cause a massive dude bumped a woman.
