JWaLL
What are your thoughts on him? I think he is a big sleeper in this draft. He's projected to go early in the second round. If he's still there at the 30th pick I'd take him in a heartbeat. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ieuZLXWrJJM Lol he does the Kobe face in this one:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x9rR9WIPQ2c&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qT_NgXhEkos&NR=
trutrojan8
He's one of those players who seems like he spent 8 years in college

Flight
Watching half of UWs games all year long on FSN, I can say he's a complete player. He doesn't have a ton of potential, but he's got the ability to top out at around 15PPG with solid defense and rebounding.
HipHopHead
I've heard he has a pretty bad outside game.
JWaLL
I've heard he has a pretty bad outside game.Umm... would you like add to that? He doesn't necessarily need an outside game to be effective. Hell, John Wall and Evan Turner's outside games aren't great, but they're good players. Pondexter can do a lot more that takes away from his necessity to knock down 3s.

Same with Amare, Bosh, Gasol, Bynum.. I can keep going if you would like.

Pondexter is a swingman, and you're comparing him with top big men in the league... obviously big men don't need an outside game because of their inside game. Pondexter needs a good outside game to be a great player. Without it, he is just an all around decent player.

JWaLL
Pondexter is a poor man's Carmelo Anthony. Is that a bad thing? Pondexter is expected to be a role player, not a top scorer superstar. Saying he won't be as good as Melo isn't an insult to his game, he is a great player and should have decent success in the NBA. Comparing anyone to Carmelo is a tribute.
