Depending how easy it is to attack them... if Bafana plays good defense, I just don't see France has any in them to bounce back. Especially if Mexico - Uruguay (earlier game) have a draw game, because a draw and both teams will automatically advance, eliminating France and Bafana. There are talks they would have a fixed draw game to ensure both (both being from South America give extra incentive) to advance to the 16. In other words, if Mexico - Uruguay draw, I really think France will say "[expletive] this World Cup" and look forward to the next one. And South Africa (although eliminated) will still be motivated to perform for their home fans because when would they get back to this stage again?
