Paul: "I don't want to be traded, unless..."

Recommended Posts

ESPN's ticker had this just now, can't find a source yet but it's not really too surprising.

"I don't want to be traded from New Orleans, unless we aren't in a position to win and compete [for a title]."

This sounds like Paul, anyone that's seen his work ethic knows he's all about winning and being better, and he loves the city of New Orleans but wants to win a title. New Orleans also supposedly said they aren't interesting in trading him despite offers.

Say whuh?

Anyways, I don't see him leaving unless their is a offer that is good enough to make them trade him.

Why not trade CP3 while the market is at its highest? They have Collison and Thornton, who are both underpayed and very young, yet are a great backcourt. So why not lose CP3 and get younger in the front court too and build a nice future?

Because Paul is a top 5 player in the league who every year will give you over 20PPG, 11APG, nearly 3SPG and shoot over 50% from the field and almost never turn the ball over. I've been saying it since he came into the league, he's a once in a generation PG.
