Owner Real Deal Posted June 26, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted June 26, 2010 Be sure to bold your vote, then follow it up with an argument as to why you believe the duo is deserving of the vote.
reno
Scottie and MJ, cant get better than 6 nba championships. Great competitors, amazing defenders, and can score at will. Edited June 26, 2010 by DaBron James
Flight
Gotta go MJ and Pippen. Kobe and Shaq might be the better duo as players (Kobe close to MJ, Shaq better than Pippen), but MJ and Pippen made the NBA what it is.
MainEv3nt
i thought bout this long an hard but i gotta go with Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, Shaq an Kobe is number 2 tho.
JWaLL
Should be a no brainer, Jordan and Scottie get my vote. Jordan is arguably the best player of all time while Scottie is a top 50 player of all time. That duo got them multiple championships and they were seemingly unstoppable together. ChosenOne
I really cant think of a better duo that MJ and Pippen, the second closest would have to be Kobe and Shaq.
Cleveland's Finest
Has to be Shaq and Kobe. Shaq was one of the most dominant players in the game. Scottie wasn't that good. Shaq much better than Scottie, MJ a little better than Kobe.
Nitro
Shaq and Kobe. The ultimate inside-out duo. Shaq was as dominant as any player in NBA history during the 3-peat, and even though Kobe was still on the rise, he was still a top 3 player in the league. Guru
Shaq and Kobe were unstoppable. If it wasn't for all the drama they could have won a couple more rings.
Owner Real Deal Posted June 28, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted June 28, 2010 I have to say Shaq and Kobe as well, because both demanded doubles. Chicago did a lot of great things with Jordan and Pippen, but they had shooters galore, knocking down shots every game. I wouldn't throw Horry (showing up only in clutch moments) and Fisher (same) in a similar boat with Paxson, Kerr, Armstrong, Kukoc and Harper. During their dynasty, Kobe and Shaq were the two most dominant players in the league. During that second and third ring, you could argue that Kobe was also the best overall player, as he and Tim Duncan were neck-to-neck in overall skills, while nobody in the league could defend Shaq by themselves, up until his days in Miami and Phoenix.
