Owner Real Deal Posted June 26, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted June 26, 2010 Be sure to bold your vote, then follow it up with an argument as to why you believe he is deserving of the vote. There are plenty of them...so who takes the cake?
reno
Lebron James- har har I kid I would have to say Karl Malone, 2 time mvp 13 time nba all star, amazing player who just simply could not get a ring. Flight
I think I'll go with Malone and Stockton... I feel like I'm forgetting someone else though. (no, not T-Mac haha) But those two have to be together. Edited June 26, 2010 by FreeAgent
Newman
Malone is the top pick, but I don't feel that it is fair to mention Malone without Stockton. Those 2, at their peak, have been stopped by the basketball god and they deserve to win the championship at any other time.
Guest STL10
Reggie Miller of the past. Allen Iverson of the current. Reggie was the best 3 point shooter and mid-range scorer ever. Lone Wolf
I'm guessing it has to be a player that is currently retired? Stockton/Malone. Both players were a dynamic duo. It's too bad they ran into MJ and the Bulls.
Jammin
Stockton for sure. He was extremely consistent on both ends of the floor, set records for assists, steals etc. This guy was amazing and came SO close SO many times.

Flight
It may be because it's "NBA's Best" An argument can be made that LeBron is the best player (just what he is, right now, not looking at his career) apart from MJ and Kobe, but greatest, no not even close yet. Riot
I will show Charles Barkley some love. At 6'6, he is one of the best rebounders of all time, averaging 11.7 over his career, compared to Malone's 10.1. And all the accolades, an MVP, 11x all star, 5x first team, the list goes on. Poe
Do you consider LeBron a greater player than Malone, already?Malone had the better career since he did damage for 19 years, but LeBron's prime is easily the better player. For now I'll change my vote to Karl Malone, but if LeBron is never a part of a championship team by the time he's done with his own career, he should end up as the #1 player to never win a ring. deestillballin
There are so many to chose from. Stockton, Malone, Barkley, Reggie. But since there can only be one I have to go with Reggie on this one. Clutch. Great Shooter. the whole package. EastCoastNiner
Did you watch him in his prime? He's not even better than Ray Allen, who does have a ring, and he isn't better than Malone, Barkley, or James. Reggie Miller shouldn't even be in the conversation. He's just a more accomplished Michael Redd.
Owner Real Deal Posted June 29, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted June 29, 2010 Yeah, I can't say Reggie is better than Malone. Karl was one of the best defensive players in the league, let alone the second greatest scorer (by the numbers) in league history. Second best power forward of all-time (behind Duncan)...you can't take Reggie over Malone. Had Jordan not existed, Karl would have two rings, and Barkley would have one. Owner Real Deal Posted June 29, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted June 29, 2010 Reggie is much better than Redd. I'm not really sure if I can say he's much better than Ray Allen, though. Allen, like Miller, is one of the greatest shooters of all-time, and you have to keep in mind that Allen was able to drop 40's much easier than Reggie (and he just dropped 45-50 points last year, far out of his prime). But I still can't stick any of them over Malone or Barkley.
