Phightins
Braves bullpen was imploding in the 9th. 4-3 lead and bases loaded with 2 outs, Johnny Damon up with a full count. "Strike 3" was a good 6 inches off the plate. Wish I had a screenshot of it.

Teletopez
Looks like a strike to me. -_-That's in the other batter's box. http://i50.tinypic.com/309r32e.jpg Notice the difference in where McCann set up and where he caught the ball. Flight
Bumgarner's first game of the season and 5th career appearance, not great but he pitched okay I'd say, giving up 4 to the Red Sox isn't terrible for your season debut as a 20 year old. I think he's gonna be special, didn't get the win though.

I've always said I think Bumgarner has what it takes to actually be the ace of that staff, however he has lost some velocity on that fastball, if it returns I'll stand by my argument. Not many young guys regroup like that. IDK if he can be the ace of THIS staff with Lincecum and Cain, but hell if he becomes 90% what he's supposed to be the Giants should have something special 3/5 games if they can keep Tim and Matt locked up for a while. Phightins
Lots of scouts are very down on Bumgarner now. Apparently his fastball is barely touching 90 now.
