Jammin
Villanova guard Scottie Reynolds is expected to join the summer league team of the Suns.Reynolds became the first undrafted All-American since the 1976 NBA-ABA merger when he wasn't selected on Thursday night. He averaged 18.2 points and 3.3 assists as a senior, but his size and point guard skills hurt his stock. "It's fantastic," said Suns Director of Player Personnel Todd Quinter. "He had a great chance of going in the draft. We were really fortunate he wanted to play for our summer team. "He plays with a lot of heart. He might not be a traditional point guard but he's a scorer and can distribute. He can be really good at our pace. He wants to be in the NBA badly." I heard he wasn't athletic enough or have solid size to compete and that's why he wasn't drafted. But he played great in college and was an All-American. I'm excited to see how this goes. TheHutch
Damn, I was hoping the Cavs would snatch him up.
Need4Sheed
He is a good size PG with tremendous heart, great 3 point shooting skills, good handle, good defense, awesome driving skills. There was so many times he was out on the break where he goes in for a lay up and I was like NO NO NO then he makes it.
Sun Tzu
I wonder if he does make our team how many minutes he would get seeing as we would have Dragic as our back up point guard. Maybe Reynolds or Dragic will get playing time as a SG?
Newman
He signed a one year contract with Prima Veroli, a second division team ( ) in Italy, according to ESPN. Prima Veroli, a second division team in Italy, made a one-year offer with financial guarantees that "blew us out of the water," said Reynolds' agent, Lee MelchionniSource
Newman
Just an update on Reynolds, I saw his name in the NBDL's Draft Prospects list here so I am guessing he didn't go to Europe after all.
