SRV
Out of all the teams with the ability to sign a big name, what team do you think will miss out? I have a feeling the Knicks will end up disappointed with FA. I think they are betting on Lebron too much, and he is gonna sign elsewhere and all the other names will be gone once he decides where he wants to play. Flight
Knicks and Nets looking less and less like players. I expect Boozer and maybe Gay if Memphis doesn't match to go to either team.
Cleveland's Finest
Knicks and Nets will be stuck with the Lee, Boozer, Johnson, Gay.....not that it's bad, but they'll have to pay much more money than they should. Clippers will get no one imo. Heat and Bulls will get Amare or Bosh.
moeroadkill
the only team getting screwed is knicks unless they get two max guys. atleast other teams have a future to look forward for
Nitro
The Knicks. They've basically bombed the last few seasons in hopes of luring LeBron or Wade, and they also have very little to develop besides Gallo. Suffering so much losing with the future completely dependant on 1 of 2 players...if they fail getting Wade or Bron, then it'll be a travesty for Knicks fans. Of course they will likely get at least one or two of the other big name FA's to keep them competitive. But after all this insane hype over the last 2-3 years? It'll be a weak consolation prize. Owner Real Deal Posted June 28, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted June 28, 2010 Knicks, because they have basically threw their entire team out the door in hopes to get two superstars, and getting a Boozer and a Gay (ha) won't suddenly boost them into 45-50 wins. Granted they didn't have much being thrown away in the first place... There's more to basketball than marketing in NYC. Once playoff teams opened the doors for these superstars to dive into a potential championship contender (Miami and Chicago are two), that pretty much smoked the Knicks right out of the war room.
