Bryant, fresh off an NBA championship with the Los Angeles Lakers, grew up playing soccer as a boy in Italy and has never lost his affection for the game. His favorite player? Didier Drobga, the powerful forward of now-eliminated Ivory Coast. The team he admires? Brazil, which he hopes to watch against Chile on Monday. Bryant was in the VIP section Saturday night to see to the United States in its second-round game against Ghanahttp://soccernet.espn.go.com/world-cup/story/_/id/5334728/ce/us/world-cup-draws-kobe-bryant-south-africa?cc=3888&ver=global Edited June 28, 2010 by Shaliq
