Need4Sheed
All these years and the West Coast was the stronger conference, after this FA signing period I think it's safe to say the East will be the more powerful conference for years. Kobe24
Just depends on if they can finish it by getting the banner in June..
Nitro
Eh...way too much has to happen before I can definitively say that. I have a feeling the East will continue to be very top-heavy, and the West will be more balanced with 6-7 50+ win teams. Because even though Chicago, Miami and likely NY/NJ will be vastly improved, the Cavs and Celtics will both go the way of old yeller. Big Penny
they said the same thing last year... remember? after Free Agency, there was tons of articles about 'Power Shift' 'The NBA Is Moving Back To The East' etc etc. i'll believe it when i see it. kingfish
Still cant beat LA. If Bynum stays healthy next year, look out. Then again thats a big if. If Kobe doesnt break another finger next season, look out.

Sun Tzu
Maybe they will. Considering all the teams with cap space to be able to obtain players on max contracts are in the East.

Warren2ThaG
The bottom of the West would still compete with the top of the East in a 7 game series, Bottom of the East would get owned by the top of the West, even after FA.
