Nitro
You know we paid 3 million dollars for a second round draft pick right? Yeah, but that's just dumb. Paying a lot less for something that intimidates Knicks employees and brings a ton of attention to the Nets is a brilliant marketing plan. NomarFachix
Our owner is a billionaire, money is not that big of an issue. No I'm not trying to say that... He said paying for a 2nd round pick is stupid, and that you can pay less to intimidate the Knicks. I just think improving your team is more important, especially for a [expletive] team like ours. Nitro
Owners faces on the side of a building > Players for your team? $3M for a 2nd round draft pick? NBDL level player? Yes, a few hundred grand (if that) to intimidate and send a message to not only Knicks, but the entire NY/NJ area is a much smarter move. Look at how much attention it has recieved locally and nationally...that's huge for a team like the Nets.
