PG: John Wall/Kirk Hinrich

SG: Gilbert Arenas/Nick Young

SF: Josh Childress?/Al Thornton

PF: Andray Blatche/Yi Jianlian/Kevin Seraphin/Trevor Booker

C: JaVale McGee/Hamady Ndiaye

Needs: A more experienced center. I don't trust McGee to start as center, he seems to serve more as an energy player to come off the bench and get a few highlight dunks/blocks to help out our team's momentum.

It is still possible that we may resign Josh Howard for a lower price than his team option has him earning. With this happening, I think we should still make a push for Childress, who has proven to be a great sixth man in this league. This would then allow us to trade away Gilbert packed with Thornton to the Magic to acquire Vince Carter and Marcin Gortat. VC would be a better compliment to Wall than Gilbert. He isn't the BEST acquisition, but I think he could flourish in an offense lead by John Wall. Acquiring Gortat in this trade gives us a big veteran center to start over McGee and can provide athleticism and defense. To me, the lineup below seems much more promising than the one above:

PG: John Wall/Kirk Hinrich

SG: Vince Carter/Nick Young

SF: Josh Howard/Josh Childress

PF: Andray Blatche/Yi Jianlian/Kevin Seraphin/Trevor Booker

C: Marcin Gortat/JaVale McGee/Hamady Ndiaye

Countless rumors have been made about Gilbert being shipped to Orlando for Vince Carter and possibly Gortat, so this hypothetical lineup is realistic. I'd be very happy if we were able to start the season off with a roster like this.
