A lot of people I know prefer nvidia.Nvidia's 4XX series is over priced and draws too much energy I'm just trying to run BFBC2 maxed out with stable 60+ fps now
Lone Wolf
Yeah, they are too damn expensive. I tried to keep it around the 1k mark for my new computer, which is running great. It's fun to save 1,200 dollars for a computer equal or better than Alienware's.
Lkr
$1000? did you go the i7 route?
Lone Wolf
Nope. AMD Phenom II X4 945. Even the monitor, keyboard, mouse and wireless USB were included in the $1,000 I spent. Actually, it was between that and $1,100.

Actually, it was between that and $1,100.I guess I must have got some insanely good deals then, because I only spent $460 to begin with(before I bought a $30 heatsink in April and the 5850) Specs:Phenom II X4 965 BEGSkill Ripjaws DDR3-1333 Asus M4A785TD-m EVOPNY GeForce GTS 250OCZ StealthXStream 700W I guess I lucked out cause I already had a case, hard drives, dvd drive, OS, monitor, mouse/keyboard, and my sound setup. I guess I could have easily spent another $400 on monitor/hard drives, case
