Sportsguy9695
One player the Jets are monitoring is the former Oakland Raiders bust JaMarcus Russell, who was cut recently after reportedly ballooning to 300 pounds according to Rich Cimini of ESPNNewYork.com. Russell, the No. 1 overall pick in 2007, is training in Arizona, trying to get in shape. The Jets have received positive reports, but don't jump to conclusions here. Their interest appears to be cursory; we're talking maybe one phone call. Sources say the Arizona Cardinals or the Minnesota Vikings are the most likely landing spot. AllenIverson#1fan
Why would they be interested when they already have Mark Sanchez? Or, if their looking to put him on the bench.. Which I think they are.

Which I think they are.because if Mark goes down with an injury. he would need a back up.
NomarFachix
See, I don't get that logic. If you want him as a 3rd QB, fine. Develop him. Practice squad? Yeah, maybe. But if you're using him as #2 to Sanchez, you already know you're going to lose if he has to start and finish a game. What's the point?
