The Regime
Watson would like to play for Lakers Add Earl Watson to the list of the point guards the Lakers are taking a strong look at, a league source said. Watson lives in the Los Angeles area with his actress wife, and his first preference would be to sign with the Lakers, the source said. The Lakers are high on Steve Blake, but would prefer to not spend their entire midlevel exception, possibly making Watson an affordable option. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=Aq0S5xhvd1_MeGkP6R6AI2y8vLYF?slug=ys-freeagentbuzz063010

Nitro
Meh...he hasn't shot 43% from the field or 29% from 3 either of the last 2 seasons. He's not a bad bench player, and will certainly be affordable, but I don't think it'd be a great fit.
Owner Real Deal Posted July 1, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted July 1, 2010 We'll take Blake. If Watson wants Los Angeles, there's a blue and red team he can sign with.

Sun Tzu
I would assume if Watson joins the Lakers then the Lakers would have to get rid of either Fisher or Farmar?
Owner Real Deal Posted July 1, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted July 1, 2010 I would assume if Watson joins the Lakers then the Lakers would have to get rid of either Fisher or Farmar? We're going to let Farmar go. He thinks he can start and contribute somewhere else (positive contributions, as in, Rajon Rondo contributions), so we're going to let him play his little heart and big ears out. moeroadkill
have fun with that looser, if he signs. you'll enjoy all the dumb 3 pointers and the 3 point fouling if there was a stat for it earl would be ranked 1 in fouling a 3 point shooter
