Owner Real Deal Posted July 1, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted July 1, 2010 The Indiana Pacers are targeting former Lakers point guard Jordan Farmar for a one-year contract. Owner Real Deal Posted July 1, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted July 1, 2010 Sorry Indiana, a one-year deal isn't going to get it done.
Newman
Sorry Indiana, a one-year deal isn't going to get it done. Yeah I think Farmar is looking for a multi-year contract as well. He will get the starting job at Indiana, however.
Gorilla Dog
Sorry Indiana, a one-year deal isn't going to get it done. Maybe he signs a 2 year deal with a player option for the 2nd year. He can start with the Pacers and if he plays well as the starter for the team, he can opt out for a longer contract and more money next summer. Art
Let him go. Lakes don't need him imo.

Owner Real Deal Posted July 2, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted July 2, 2010 Settling for free agency ehYep, because Farmar has the potential to be the best guard in NBA history, and he wants to lead a three-peat on his own. What's one more ring when you already have two, right?
The Regime
Don't know what the Pacers see in him to make him their starting pg, there were alot of times last season where I thought Farmar was nothing more than a d-league player. Good luck to him though, he's easily replaceable. Edited July 2, 2010 by Confidence
Lkr
They'll give him money, he's white. I feel sorry for the Pacers that they are getting stuck with him though
NJNJ
Apparently, the Pacers are doing this 1 yr deal thing just so they can maintain their salary cap flexibility in the future. But either way doubt Farmar would even take this.
