I have to go with Varejao as well. Davis can't defend, and he's about as consistent on offense as Lamar Odom (you already know what that means).

Varejao's best offensive game isn't going to be better than Davis' best, but Anderson is a much better defender, and he's not out of control on offense.

Big Baby did come up huge for the Celtics this series. That has to be taken into account. I feel like Varejao's offensive game is nothing without teams doubling Lebrons. Varejao also isnt really an elite defender more like a pest who will grab that one random rebound

I don't know, dude. Sasha Vujacic is a pest on defense...not a good defender, but just someone who annoys the life out of you.

Varejao put up some impressive defensive numbers (opponent eFG% and such).

As far as Baby's play in the Finals...can't say he was that big for them. He shot 46% for the series (which isn't great for his size), shot UNDER 44% for the season, and had some pretty bad games in 2010.

He dominated Lamar Odom all series, but I really don't know if that's saying a lot. There's a reason why fans call him Odumb.

Big Baby is pretty undersized and hes a good defender. He basically won Boston Game 4 along with Lamar Odom. Correct me if im wrong but he finished with Pau on him and scoring also. Pau is no pushover anymore also. He also came up big against Miami when Celtics needed him most, because of Garnett's suspension. He didnt play particulary well against Orlando or Cleveland, maybe 1 or 2 good games.

Also during the regular season Davis was coming off of an injury and never really cemented a spot in the side with the addition of Rasheed Wallace. Varejao shot 42% for the playoff (also not good for his size). but to his credit he did shot around 58% for the season.

I love Verajao, but come on. Have you guys seen Big Baby in the playoffs? His game winner in Orlando two years ago, winning a game in the finals with little Nate? His intensity and ability to win a game overrides Andy's outstanding hustle and spirit. Just because I haven't seen Andy win a game the way Big Baby has.

Davis can't win or dominate a game by himself, he doesn't have that much talent. He can make an impact and score off the bench, but that's it. And the next few games he's a no-show, because if he isn't scoring, he's not doing much. Varejao is statistically a much better rebounder (by both TRB% and RP36min), much better defender, and he shoots far better than Davis (who has shot below 45% each of the last 2 seasons).

People are REALLY overrating Davis and Robinson after the Finals, especially Davis. You have to look at the whole picture, not just select moments.
