magicbalala245
Jackson informed Lakers spokesman John Black via e-mail late Tuesday that he intended to stick to his plan to inform the team of his decision by Friday. EDIT: Right when I post this I see on the ESPN ticker on channel ESPN is now reporting Phil will be back. AboveLegit
WojYahooNBA: In the release, Phil Jackson says: "It will be the last stand for me, and I hope a grand one." This is it, his last year of coaching.

Brand New
I'm glad Phil is coming back. Hopefully he leaves on a positive note next year. And this probably means Brian Shaw is going to take over after he leaves. Awesome.
Owner Real Deal Posted July 1, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted July 1, 2010 How sweet would it be if phils last finals game was in chicago?Haha to be honest, that would be sick. Good to hear he's back. Best news yet.
Legacy
Say LeBron goes to the Bulls. Lakers vs Bulls game 7 NBA finals in Chicago. Lakers win and Phil gets another three-peat as he retires. After the game is over, Michael Jordan comes out from the crowd as he, Kobe, and Phil take a pic. Kobe and Jordan hold up 6 fingers each as Phil holds both his hands. Laker fan dream come true. Legacy
And then Jordan bows down to Kobe. But you'll already be in the front seat doing that.
The Regime
There was no way he would leave a chance to three-peat. Great to have Phil back.
