Jammin
Steve Blake is a VERY underrated guard, he honestly would do well as a backup for mostly every NBA team.

GamerGuy
That's awesome if it turns out to be true. Fills in a gigantic hole for us, but it makes me wonder. If we get Blake, does that mean that Mike Miller decided not to accept our offer? I'm pretty sure we can only afford one...I'd be in shock if we were able to get both. Lakers gave Miller a deadline to accept their offer, which was yesterday midnight. My guess is that he didn't want to commit yet or he had better offers. Getting Mike is still possible for the Lakers, Kupchak just needs to entice the Wizards into a sign and trade.

The Regime
Love the move, now if only we can get Mike Miller.
Dash
Wojo just reported it. Steve Blake could've signed for more money elsewhere, but wisely chases ring with Lakers at 4 years for $16 million. Shrewd signing for L.A.
YugoRocketsFan
Not bad, dont see them signing Mike Miller now but they do fix their weakest position.

Check my Stats
Good, but also unnecessary signing imo. Will be interesting to see how they manage the minutes with Fisher during the season, probably expect to see Blake play more once be becomes accustomed to the offense but Fisher will get the minutes come playoff time most definitely.... just don't see how any Laker fan can hate on Fish after this past playoffs. Farmar and Brown are gone, and Vujacic is not a point guard. Fisher will start and still get his minutes, but he's getting older and Phil will have to manage his minutes. Blake fills that need by providing a lot of minutes off the bench, like what Lamar does. We needed a good point guard and we got one. ChosenOne
Well Farmar is gone for sure now. Atleast he can say he has more rings than Lebron through lol.
kingfish
I love this deal more and more. Blake can do just about anything we ask him to do. Shoot the 3, create his own shot, create for others, keep other point guards in front of him. What I like most is the way Mitch handles his business. Hel offer you a solid deal if you screw around or dont accept it hel go get someone else and you miss out on a great opportunity or have to take less money then offered. This has already happened to Ariza, FIsher, and now I think its happening to Mike Miller. Edited July 3, 2010 by kingfish
Newman
I like Blake so a good signing for the Lakers. Now they only need to sign 1-2 other free agents to give them a bench that will match with the Suns.
