Guest STL10
Amar'e Stoudemire was in New York on Saturday night and talked about who might eventually join him on the Knicks. "I've talked to Carmelo Anthony that he needs to come out here," Stoudemire said. "I've talked to Tony Parker. Both guys are ready to join me if I decide to come here. So we will see if we can work it out." Stoudemire will meet with the Knicks on Monday. "It's one of the most historic franchises in NBA history. It's a beautiful city. Madison Square Garden is definitely one of the most intriguing places to play. So they definitely have a few great points on their side." He was non-committal when was asked whether he was disappointed about not returning to Phoenix. "The organization of Phoenix has been great my whole career," he said. "I left my stamp on that organization as far as what we were able to accomplish. It was a great ride. So on to the next one."--NY Daily News LINK
magicbalala245
Did Amar'e just get quoted for tampering? I think Amar'e is gonna be fined now because both Melo and Parker are still under country.

Stern doesn't fine Knicks players...That's his favorite team.
fish7718
Lol how is that tampering, it's just Amar'e, a free agent, talking to other players, it's not like Amar'e is a GM or even associated with any franchise at the current time for that matter. Jammin
Players can talk to other players, only execs/coaches/scouts can't. And Amar'e didn't leave any 'stamp' on the franchise other then helping establish a short lived run-n-gun system that failed every year. Yeah way to go Amar'e, talk like you won multiple championships when you were injured half your career.
