Jammin
With what is expected to be the final week of the LeBron James free-agency saga about to unfold, Chris Sheridan of ESPN offers some of the key strategic considerations that are in play. Another free agent who could ultimately figure into all of this is the Knicks' own David Lee, who Sheridan reports is amenable to going to Toronto in a sign-and-trade for Chris Bosh. http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/67824/20100704/lee_open_to_s&t_to_raps_for_bosh_no_firm_offer_yet_from_ny_to_amare/#ixzz0skJ8d5cV Wouldn't mind that. He isn't that bad of a player and I bet the Raptors would like getting something in return for Jurrasic Park..
Built Ford Tough
I'd almost rather send Bosh to Beasley so at least they get a TPE of around $10M and don't have to commit to a long term contract. David Lee is better, but can you imagine the revolving door to the basket that opposing teams will have with a Lee/Bargnani starting front court? I'd much rather have Lee than Bargnani, but we all know that as long as Colangelo is running the show Bargnani is probably not going anywhere. On second thought, I might actually want to see this trade just because of how hilarious it would be trying to watch this team defend. If you thought the Raptors were bad defensively last season, could you imagine how much worse it would be if the traded Bosh for Lee? How awesome would it be to watch a lineup of: CalderonBelinelliTurkogluLeeBargnani try to defend? Plus, it would be pretty awesome to see the Raptors trot out the all-white lineup. Another plus is that the Raptors could throw out the all-power forward lineup: LeeBargnaniEvansDavisJohnson That would be pretty nice as well. EDIT: Lol, that wiretap article that RealGM is linking to was from an NY Post article written on May 23rd. 2nd EDIT: They just changed it and it is now linked to an ESPN article now. Sportsguy9695
If the Knicks dont get Lebron. I think the next best thing would be to get Bosh
