Nets Orlando Summer League 2010 Thread

Our ten-game Summer League losing streak over the last couple of years is over.

Terrence Williams took charge yesterday and today. He appears very comfortable at the point.

Favors has had some trouble with fouls, but that has been the case with our players the last couple of years. He picked up his shooting today, and he and James both put up impressive numbers.

I think Favors has to play smarter. He's trying to make too big of an impact too early, and it's good for some rookies, but he is still raw and needs to get a little bigger.

Still...the Nets didn't make a bad decision on him. Doesn't seem that way, at least.

I actually think it's the complete opposite. In every other summer league he was never calling for the ball and just letting everyone else do there thing but Nets put James and Terrence on the bench and forced Favors to work and it paid off. We need him to be cocky as he's just too shy and timid right now that it could hurt his confidence much like how Josh Boone was crushed.

Ah, didn't see the last game. I had no idea Favors put up 23 and 11.

I was actually talking about his fouling problem, though. I think he's just trying to do too much on the defensive end, to show he can play defense on the next level (which has been in question), and it's getting him in trouble.
