NomarFachix
The best record in baseball usually takes the most all-stars with them to the game, it happens (typically) every year. Kingfish mad. I still can't believe that Delmon Young was on the ticket over Brennan Boesch.
Lone Wolf
What's wrong with Young? He's been doing pretty well offensively...
NomarFachix
What's wrong with Young? He's been doing pretty well offensively... Nothing against Young, he's a good ballplayer. Boesch's numbers just blow his out of the water. Young.298/.331/.488/.820 Boesch.344/.398/.603/1.001 Boesch kills Swisher's numbers too (.293/.373/.505) but as the bottom OPS OFer on the list, I think Boesch should have replaced Delmon. The thing is, Young has been on a tear these past few months, which is blocking Boesch's season. Sad, I know.
bigdog17k
I kept voting for Konerko till my fingers felt like they were gonna fall off. Sad that he probably won't even make the Final Ballot.
Cobb
I've been voting for Billy Wagner a lot today. Too bad he won't win.
Cobb
Swish, Youk neck-and-neck; Votto in front Yankees right fielder Nick Swisher regained his lead over Red Sox first baseman Kevin Youkilis by less than a percentage point on Wednesday, setting the stage for another suspenseful ending in the storied rivalry between their teams and a frantic final day of online fan balloting in the 2010 All-Star Game Final Vote Sponsored by Sprint. Heading into the final hours, this year's American League race was the tightest in the program's nine-year history. In addition, White Sox first baseman Paul Konerko made a move toward the top by passing Rangers third baseman Michael Young for third place. They were followed by Twins left fielder Delmon Young. Reds first baseman Joey Votto maintained his pace in the National League race, leading over Nationals third baseman Ryan Zimmerman, Braves closer Billy Wagner and Rockies left fielder Carlos Gonzalez.MLB.com Edited July 8, 2010 by Cobb

Cobb
Glad Votto made it. I'm still surprised he didn't make it to begin with. As for Swisher, cool.
