Blazed49
If he's honestly willing to come off the bench I'd take AI. If not tmac. We already got a slow injury prone center who looks like he's older than shaq.

JWaLL
Kurt ThomasUm...funny... I'd take Shaq. AI is a team cancer now, and T-Mac can't guarantee you anymore than like 40 games due to his lack of durability.

Owner Real Deal Posted July 7, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted July 7, 2010 Shaq for the current Lakers squad. We need a backup center, we have enough guards, and I would want Ebanks to develop by getting minutes at the three.
Multi-Billionaire
I'll take T-Mac off the bench... or Blazed said if he's seriously willing coming off the bench, it's AI. Â But I'd take a gamble on T-Mac first.
Newman
T-Mac, nothing can stop him if he is in top form.
Nitro
The best thing about this stage of T-Mac's career is even if he does have to take a lighter load, his versatility is something Shaq and AI don't have. Without Shaq's old athleticism, he simply doesn't draw defenes like he used to anymore, Last year he had his 2nd worst TS% of his carer, and had no elevation at all once he was at the rim. Always a clutch situation liablity due to free throws. AI, meanwhile, still has a lot of game in him, but he'd have to change his style of play a bit as a 6th man/lesser role player. Considering he's only effective with the ball in his hands, that's a major issue. So, I take T-Mac, even though the risk is huge. It does take about 2 years to really recover from microfracture, and he clearly ws not in great shape last season. I do think at this pointif AI and Shaq aren't scoring, they have nothing special to bring to a team. Despite the numbers, T-Mac is one of the best playmakers/passers in the league. He uses his 6'9'' frame to look over the system, knows where players are going to be, passes it to players in their hot spots, etc... He's very good at running an offense. Oh, and he's a two-time scoring champ so he can still do that too Edited July 7, 2010 by Nitro1118
JWaLL
T-Mac, nothing can stop him if he is in top form. But he's not in top form lol, that's the catch. You'd have to take on his incredible lack of durability.
AllenIverson#1fan
Celtics, may need Shaq or AI. AI could help Rondo develop and make him a even better PG or Shaq since Perkins and Wallace aren't gonna play.
fish7718
T-Mac, but only because I'm a Knicks fan. If my team needed C depth I'd def go Shaq, no way I'd probably go AI, he doesn't seem like a useful player anymore. Anyways T-mac is great for 20-25 mins a game, when he's healthy. Would be very useful in D'antoni's system. Shaq is still a solid serviceable player, just like T-mac great for 20-25 mins a game when healthy. I think if Shaq and T-Mac use their brains and put their egos and wallets to the side, they can def each add/get a ring before they retire. Clutch
AI is the only one that can still score like he used to, with pretty much the same ease...just slightly slower..but his slightly slower is still faster than most in the league lol
