Flash
What do you guys think? We're at day 78 and I'm not sure when its going to get better. Has the Obama Administration handled this disaster well?
Guest STL10
If I was Obama I'd send the SWAT, Air Force, and Marines over to BP's headquarters and seize all assets. They need to PAY for what they did to America...
YugoRocketsFan
They should have closed it a long time ago.

Owner Real Deal Posted July 7, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted July 7, 2010 Obama isn't going to go down there and close it himself. BP should be the most qualified to do so. What else can be done?
Flash
Interesting post I got from another site:I heard an interesting theory on CNBC this morning from some guy who was a former energy executive who basically postulated that the reason this spill has continued is because the Obama administration wants to completely discredit and discontinue all hydrocarbon based fuels like oil. He says that countries have been offereing us skimmers and other assistance for weeks but the administration has rejected them citing the Jones Act. He says that Obama wants a reason to legislate against and over-regulate all hydrocarbon based industries so that they will no longer be competitive with "green" fuels and this is their way of turning the tide of public opinion from fossil fuel providers to alternative energy producers. JYD
I don't think it's be handled well, nor has it been handled poorly. I guess you can always do more and the response could have been a bit more prompt from the WH, but I'm not really sure exactly where to critcize the President. I just don't know enough to say "Wow, terrible response, he could've done this, this and this, and it would've helped so much!"...
Owner Real Deal Posted July 7, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted July 7, 2010 Interesting post I got from another site:It's always a conspiracy theory. Other than the American people, it's BP taking a hit. If all of that were true, we'd know for sure by now.
