htownborn
There have been many drafts in the NBA that has produced some very great talent, but I want to focus on just 4 of them. Many may say that the 1984, 1985, 1996, and 2003 draft are some of the greatest drafts in not only NBA but sports history. And their are loads of talent in all 4 of these drafts with Hall of Famers, future Hall of Famers, All Stars, and many other noticable players. But out this 4 which would you consider the best. Nitro
1985 isn't even on the same level of those other 3. I'm going with 1984. 1996 and 2003 were STACKED, but it's stil kind of early to determine how the top-tier plays of those clases can get build a legacy. 1984 had Jordan, Hakeem, Stockton, Barkley...that's just crazy. The best SG of all-time, arguably best Center, arguably best PG, and arguably the best PF ever who won an MVP and got his tean to the Finals. AllenIverson#1fan
Tie between '96 and 03' both had spectacular players who are well known through out the NBA. I give the edge to 1996 draft class (all bias aside)
fish7718
Look at the first 12 players draft in the 2003 draft PG - Kirk Hinrich / TJ FordSG - Dwyane Wade / Mickael PietrusSF - LeBron James / Carmelo Anthony (Sixth Man)PF - Chris Bosh / Carmelo Anthony / Nick CollisonC - Chris Kaman / Darko Milicic Other 2 guys - Sweetney Hayes That team would be one of the greatest teams ever To me its 84 or 03 Edited July 7, 2010 by Fish7718
